Yo, this was FUCKED.

Basically this kid eventually finds the underbelly of the Interwebs, called the Undernet, and under there, it's basically the Dark Web, except it takes you through a series of disturbing imagery till you go well, insane. What do I mean by that? Well this kid who saw it goes home to home murdering people, over 40, and without any remorse. This leads to suddenly a naked lady showing up and murdering people, and a group of old college friends having to join back up 20+ years later to take down this Worldtr33 thing.

It's absolutey insane, a little goofy at times, but also memorizing, sick, disgusting, and wonderful to read because you'll never be bored. The characters feel real, which is Tynion's strongest writing skill. Having characters talk and act like actual people and not stiff dialogue. The art is wicked, great imagery, and I believe same artist as nice house on the lake, so no surprise.

This is a must read IMO. If you like sick and twisted shit with great characters, Tynion got you covered. A 4.5 out of 5.

Battle Royale but everyone is a piece of shit?

That's my main view when reading this. Not bad though. I was in it for the nifty kills which the art got to showcase. I really enjoyed the pace, it's never slow, and within those 200 or so pages you're pretty much getting a complete story. I will say though, these characters? None of them were likeable. Even the two "good" ones didn't come across as very "good". But overall for a bloody, horror, battle royale style book this was pretty fun, more than I expected, and would def recommend it for fans of this style genre.

I was a little lost. Maybe I need to read the other Incal but this was still entertaining for what it was. Felt isolated enough I could enjoy it. The art was good throughout, no complaints there. I feel like I would have gotten more reading more of this series, but still the action was solid and the main lead interesting enough. Fans of this series will probably dig it even more.

I'm not really sure what to make of this one.

On one hand the idea of this Charlie character being half human half chimp is awesome. There's some hilarious moments of him trying to blend into life and school. Of course assholes not being nice to him but that's for any kid different really. I liked all the stuff with Charlie and the fish out of water situations. I wasn't a major fan of the overall terriost plot and didn't really feel that intriguing for me. It's kind of between a 3 and 4 but I'll bump it to a 4 because I enjoyed Charlie and the art a lot.

Whoa, this was a little crazy but I kind of loved it?

Rocopon is basically an assassin for the Japanese's Government. But that's not all, he's actually a Alien. That's right, this cute big headed, little face thing is serious business. And this volume flip flops between outright comedy to brutal action in seconds. Heads get ripped off, stomachs explode, and more. But it keeps this light hearted feel and tone that I actually enjoyed a ton. Don't take it too serious and enjoy the wackiness of it all page by page!

Doctor Strange is great!

Jed MacKay is seriously putting out banger after banger here. With this Dr. Strange serious following his own with Clea I was a bit worried. That series was super fun and I've never been the biggest fan of Strange himself but luckily the married couple shine as they go insane adventures together only soon having to figure out who's killing who and by the end, it got me hooked to see where we go next.

It's just a ton of fun. The sharp dialogue, the great side cast, the awesome art that adds to the series. I really just sit back and enjoy reading this series. Death of Doctor Strange, which started MacKay's run was decent but since then it's been great. I hope it continues this way!

Felt a little padded but showing all the avengers having to take on their own baddie can be a lot of fun. Let's see how it goes.

Okay this is more like it. Everyone struggling to defeat their new foes and ending the final page with multiple characters saying "No" and "nay" was fucking epic.

First arc wraps up nicely with some real good character moments and a ending that makes me think we're about to go into another big arc but let's see how it goes. Overall, good stuff.

Immortal Hulk was one of the most highly praised runs in the last few years in comics in general. While I enjoyed it a lot, I wouldn't say it's my favorite. But I was eager to see what Ewing could bring to the table for Thor under the same label.

Thor is a lot happier in this first issue. Sharing grand stories with his lads, while traveling earth and enjoying his time with us mere mortals. A funny opening with the Ice Giants as well gives us a more cheerful Thor that I think is refreshing.

The last few pages we are introduced to a new foe, one similar to Thor, and maybe he met his match? I don't know how I feel about the new foe yet but a solid fun, happy, and a bit silly first issue is just what the doctor ordered IMO.
