David remains a interesting character. Superman trying his best to teach him the right lessons. And joker makes his move. All great stuff. Art still fantastic.
Shit man everyone is mad. Joker goes back to hitting people with a crowbar and some big holy shit moments at the end.
David....noooooo. This was bittersweet but great at the same time.
The fight between Azrael and Vengeance is real good, and learning of the truth behind the angels and programming is cool, but the characters aren't really that interesting. Least it's way better than 90% of Azrael's stuff usually.
Second half is pretty cool with Venom and Antman kind of taking lead of the mission. I love watching Flash be a hero, it's great. But the first half, with Thor and the crew in space and Captain Marvel back for a few issues was really weird. Felt super out of place. Very confusing volume.
Oh man one page got me tearing up like a motherfucker.
This mini starting off banger status.

The area we're in, this resort, is kind of getting a bit stale for me. But luckily we are reaching the end when everything is becoming revealed who the actual witch is in this huge witch hunt. The best part for this volume for me was the side story which had a really unique game, and very fucked up one. Good stuff there.
A 3.5 out of 5.

Donny Cates very rarely misses for me in the creator owned field and Vanish is no different.
Basically mixing wizards and fantasy with the real world and superheroes in the mix works extremely well. The best part is how unlikeable every character is, yet you love watching them all beat the living shit out of each other to the point of murdering one another. This "hero" in the story is so built on vengeances that he's murdering people who were evil at one point but now trying to be superheroes. On top of that we get great artwork from Stegman, as always, to really heighten the fucked up action on display here.

A bunch of one shots, similar to how Ellis did his Moon Knight run. Steve is basically in every single one but each issue stars different people from Valkyrie, to Moon Knight, Beast, Black Widow, and so on.
It's a lot of fun most of the issues. The strongest almost always involve Moon Knight. Ellis just has a knack for writing that character well. The stories wrap up every single issue, though some leave it where you're like "Did they do the right thing?" Which makes it really enjoyable. I will say the time traveling story brings it down as it's needlessly confusing. But besides that very enjoyable.

A lackluster ending a lackluster run. For sure one of Remender's weakest works for Marvel right before he left.
Basically Eric is a piece of shit, even more so after he died and brought back in the service of the father. This everyone getting attacked by the other side, monster cancer-verse versions of the heroes, is just boring at this point.
Yeah this entire run tbh is skippable and this one doesn't do much other than having some sweet moments with Flash as Venom.
