A bit of a slower issue in comparison to the last few. Nice build up though and the "Okay" like from Deathstroke to his wife was fuuuuucked, but I always hated Slade, and it is fun to hate him.
This is more like it! Slade goes head to head with others trying to take his target to get that $$$. Love seeing Slade make mistakes he normally wouldn't much later in his career. Watching him slip up some due to just becoming Deathstroke is great. Also really dig the fights here, quick and brutal. Ending is interesting too, wanna see what happens next.
A solid finish though nothing surprising. I'm sad to see this end, and I'm sad to see we aren't getting more Deathstroke by Brisson. I think he's a great pick for a action heavy season. But I guess this is where it all ends for Deathstroke's year one storyline.

This was alright.
The thing is Death of Superman is a big shifting point, both bad and good, for comics in general. But revisiting it 30 years later, can't help but feel was just a decent outing. Basically a retelling, mixed with different view points. Strongest being Clark's parents for sure. But the whole thing kind of feels just there, and doesn't add much. But I guess that's the point of a anniversary.

Little Mad max, a little dark and trying to kill children Flash, and a old fashion world with Barry stuck in the past but seeing his villain instead of Wally.
Some brutal kills aside and decent art this one felt like every other b-side horror movie.
Was nice to see the family of flash work together as a team. Some cute moments. Fun. Hope. All nice things.
The art is solid throughout but the story feels more on the "eh been there" side. Nice to see Batman being a detective though.

A little messy how it was told. And every character was unlikable. But watching predators hunt during a war is badass. Picking on the survivors to present a challenge is awesome. Wish had more focus on that. A 3.5 out of 5.
