She-Hulk by Peter David was better than expected even if it feels a little uneven and cut short.

She She-Hulk has lost her license to be a lawyer. She's not on the road trying to work with a Skrull name J as they become basically bounty hunters. As they continue their adventure of hunting down people, including almost getting killed, landing in prison, and eventually dealing with the Skrull invasion during secret invasion, there's plenty of plot points to view.

I really like Peter David's characterization on Jennifer. She's self aware she has issue. She's also known to be a little...horny all the time. Aren't we all though? No? Okay then just me and Jen then. But she's also a good person with a good heart, willing to do whatever to help friends in need. It also helps she's pretty damn funny too.

The art is mostly great (Save those X-Factor issues...ew) with lots of fun fights and character designs. I was impressed with almost all the art in here, and there were a few different art styles to be counted.

Overall, if like She-Hulk and like Peter David's style of writing (Though a bit wordy) with some great art. This is worth checking out. A 3.5 out of 5 but I'll bump it to a 4.

Killian is our main lead here and he goes with his partner Keano to dispose of a body. But soon is hunted by Keano and another hitman after fucking up a job.

This one long night is a man trying to survive the night. Trying to escape certain death while also trying to protect a girl. As the story progresses we get deeper into the reason everyone is in the situation they are. With twist and turns till the end feels lost and broken.

I really dug the story. While it wrapped up bit too quickly it still hit hard when it did. The art is great, with the feel of the night air wrapping around these characters as they try to survive. The expressive faces make for some excellent emotional bits. The art/story combo worked real well.

I also learned a lot of Irish Slang.

A 4 out of 5.

A really good volume.

Splinter is doing things, being a bit shady, and the turtles are trusting him less and less. But Splinter is doing this because he runs the foot clan. What choice does he have?

On top of that we get the turtles dealing with the inner turmoil, trying to find out who's who, and what's right. It's not a easy choice but its great to watch.

Also the final issue is a Christmas party and it is ADORABLE and amazing all at once. A 4 out of 5.

Thor is trying to find out what happened to his hammer.

But as he's going down the path to find out what happen to his hammer he finds trails of bodies. Ones who have been struck down by his very weapon. When he finds out who wields the hammer, things get even more messy, and he might need friends to help him.

I didn't love this arc. Some cool moments, great art, fun fight scenes but overall...the villain reveal? Kind of wack. I also didn't love the funeral issues, very disjointed, and not all that well done.

While I still enjoy Thor by Donny Cates, this is slowly becoming one of his weaker series.

This was a lot better than expected.

Basically fantastic four goes broke. They run out of money and have to deal with everyday issues. You know, losing their home, not making enough money, finding jobs, things like that. It's refreshing to see them work as a unit, a family, banding together to get through tough times that don't concern a big invasion.

However, the last two issues go more supernatural and we have a big bad alien invasion in the woods. Though it's smaller scale than expected, and works, it does take away from the very grounded feel of the first few issues.

The art is fantastic for sure, some amazing looking effects and designs. I will say Sue feels a bit to sexulized at times, least the poses, but the rest looked great and really shined through.

I'll be checking out a couple more volumes for sure. A 4 out of 5.

Best issue so far. Moon Knight finds out a truth and he's had enough of being spun around. Time to fuck shit up.

The avengers issue were great! The more personal stories with Nova and stuff is wonderful. Fantastic Four coming in wasn't that interesting and the weakest part. A 4 out of 5 though for the rest.

So I strongly suggest watching OR reading this series. I already watched season 1 and loved it so much had to pick up the manga.

Marin, aka, wifeu goddess is just trying to cosplay. This volume focuses on Gojo making her first ever cosplay. It takes a lot of work, and he almost loses hope, but Gojo pushes forward and finishes by the deadline. Except that wasn't Marin's actual deadline, she was just mentioning there's a showcase. But since he finished, they decide to go to the convention anyway!

This is a super cute volume but also great to learn about how much work goes into cosplay. Simple things like even eyelashes can be very big part of the costume. I also loved the ending, it's SO freaking adorable and such a nice change of pace. It helps Gojo and Marin are both great lead characters that bounce off each other well.

Sexy shots aside, which I'll take, cause this artist is amazing. She really knows how to do sexy, helps she's a woman and knows the angles and such better, but man the sexy covers between chapters? Butt shots and boobs? I'll take em.

But the main core story is far less dirty with SO much heart, and works so well. I can't recommend it enough for romance/slice of life fans. A 4.5 out of 5.

Well that was fucking depressing...loved it.

I think the fact we got all the holes filled in to what really happened, even if we could of guessed it, was great. The topper was for sure seeing this creature wreck havoc on this poor kids life, but why its there, is even scarier.

I also did a Interview with the artist if want to check it out! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M8rJczKpMw

Volume 2 continues the body swapping thriller in a interesting but uneven way.

We have our lead kid who's in a grown man's body trying to figure out how to get close to the people he cares about but without being arrested since he's in the body of a murderer. On top of that we have the murderer inside the little kids body plotting his next move while also being a scumbag.

While it's still entertaining it doesn't feel like a lot of ground was covered here. Nothing really changed in the dynamic between the two leads. I'm wondering if this will be too padded to hit hard, but we shall see.
