I'm creating a video soon for this series that'll talk about it's themes and why it resonated with me so much, BUT, this is a very solid send off if not a bit rushed.
We pickup where we left off. The devil decides to step into the human realm and take his kid but Sadie and the Fam have another idea. We get some epic fights, and then the next few issues tend to speed through events. Get a few major moments and revelations but it's mostly focused on giving us this slice of life story in the middle of a war for humanity.
I absolutely loved some parts. The heart of the book, the theme of family, and of course the bond between mother and son all works really well. The last two issues do feel slightly rushed, due to Cates becoming a megastar in the comic universe, but it still sticks the landing and gives us a farewell we all deserved.
A 4 out of 5.

Ehhhh this run is starting to get boring.
I will say the art is still great. I do love that my boy Flash Thompson comes in and gets to be a badass. The superior Dr. ock still is a selfish prick but his love for his gf is very cute. But everything else feels like fodder, like a filler but without being a filler...if that makes sense.
Point is, it's not bad, but I doubt I'll remember this arc 2 months from now.

This was a slower paced volume but worked well to build the world and characters.
Getting to see the three main leads work together was a nice change of pace. Some silly adventures, and learning what happens humans if they stay too long with their undead friends. I also liked we got a lot more background on Bishamonten and her sad world. Oh and there's a asshole who likes to torment the undead and use them, and so just when Yukine makes a friend it is ripped away from him.
Overall, some solid world building and character development. This wasn't a amazing volume but it was good. This series has a cool idea and I'm with it still. A 3 out of 5.

The first half finishes up the backstory while second half goes into more battles and Ichigo finally reaches his loved one.
See, first half actually wasn't bad. Not we know how everyone was tricked by the bastard Aizen. And it's kind of screwed up how much they trusted this loser. But anyway that part is the best part of the volume, and Ichigo finally making it to his beloved. But the battles at the end with the captains, or rank down captains, was just okay. I didn't really care for these battles.

Another cute volume. Some really silly/funny moments and I like the two main leads. Her friend comes in, and she's a firey spirit that does give some good laughs. I didn't love how she ripped her friends shirt up so she revealed her boobs to the guy...pretty disgusting. But overall it was still solid, wonder how we can stretch this 7 more volumes though.
Another solid issue, and more Ben trying to balance life, so I always enjoy that. There's cool stop a robbery scene that works well and I liked Ben's talk with Peter. Kraven kind of came out of nowhere though...
The fight with Kraven is okay, some really cool trippy visuals atleast. I did enjoy watching Ben stand up for his love life, but man oh man the "villain" is so paint by the numbers, she's just kind of lame.
Not often do I let art get me annoyed reading but the art in this issue is atrocious. Some of the ugliest and non-fitting for this story art I've ever seen. Saying that the story isn't bad, but it's just kind of goofy. I need more...come on guys, give Wally a story worth reading again.
This arc can't end soon enough. Tired of Wally going through different points in time as different characters. What the hell was this? Least art was better in this issue.
It's cool to see how big K came back, but the art is lackluster at points and the whole Jenny plotline feels forced, leading to some silly drama coming down the line.
