I really need to revisit Batman Mask of the Phantasm because I'm not getting a full picture of what the hell is happening in some parts of this book. Some of it being very morbid and I need a refresher. But I did really enjoyed Halena's parts and Salinas. All good stuff and the art is back to be amazing.

Okay this issue was alot better. Spider-Man get to fight off against the "Ringer". Yes. You read that right. And with that it was actually pretty funny moments though some cheesy dialogue got in the way.

Okay we getting better. Peter def has much better quips now. Made me laugh a few times. The villains tho...fucking monkey man? Come on bro. Least Beetle is here now at the end.

A solid enough start. Stern gets to make more serious stories this time with much better choices for villains. Vulture old age is catching up to Jim but after making a surprising friend he decides once more to do bad. This Is a job for Spidy!

A okay arc. I like Miguel but this one is super messy and doesn't end in a satisfying way.

Besides the hideous costume of foolkiller I actually enjoyed this story and its stance on mental illness.

Getting closer to a 4 star rating. The fun chemistry between black cat and Peter is alot of fun. Also peter having a little happiness is always a plus.

A nice ending to a two parter. Black cats farewell and peter learning the truth were both powerful.

I didn't love Lemire's run but it was better than this, that's for sure.

This actually starts off really interesting. First issue, almost two issues, is a slowburn, giving us a dark villain, and it seems to be setting up a lot of great stuff. Then Bemis adds in his humor, which I gotta be honest isn't good. The art takes a turn for the worst and feels static as fuck. I can't stand the ending, really badly done. I dunno what happened but this wasn't very good.

Dragon ball super actually let's the other Z warriors get a chance to shine.

Piccolo and Gohan get to really shine here as they must defend planet earth against Moro's goons. It's actually a two part fight where the first fight the Z warriors barely are able to hold them off. The second is a all out attack on earth where the Z warriors have to work together with all the planet fighters to defend. It's really entertaining to see and we also learn the truth about a few characters. A nice step up here. A 4 out of 5.
