A Really solid start. Watching Ben and Peter whoop ass together is a ton of fun.

Another great followup. Poor Peter can't catch a break. He's holding on to dear life, trying to get though the posion all while Ben is doing his best to be a superhero. This probably won't go very well for either.

Wow this run got extremely boring, predictable, and not fun to read. Least the art stayed decent.

Where I thought the first Omnibus was really well crafted, some excellent stories, mixed in with a couple of just okay stories, this one is the opposite. This has one major story that's great, some decent, and then a few bad.

The best story is the revenge on Wolverine. Which does start with Wolverine goes to hell and goes on for the next about 15 issues. It's well thoughout and strong story. The ending results is awfully sad, though wrapped up too quick for event sake. But overall I enjoyed the story a lot as well and Schism being decent for what it was.

The 5 part mini series team up with Spidy and China town and return to Japan and all that were boring as can be. I was so bored reading these stories I nearly dropped the Omnibus completely. Not a fun way to go out either, really the last ten issues were a drag.

I have to say I'm disappointed in this. It's not all bad. But I can't give it higher than a 2.5 out of 5.

Another really cute volume.

This focuses a good portion on the couple (or soon to be couple) on the cover. It's the little brother finally realizing his new friend is a girl. And you can tell he already likes her a lot. .So a good portion of this volume has that focus. We also get a cute time at the festival with everyone. We also deal with some good vacation time with the company they work for.

Overall, the plot feels a little stand still now but it's always cute and funny. A 4 out of 5.

This is a really cyclical take on product use, capitalism, and more.

It starts off simple enough. A guy gets a pair of glasses as a gift from his girlfriend and this pair of glasses has a A.I. that tell the user what they want to hear, become a friend, as long as they keep buying products. It's fucked up but sounds similar to other products we have now. Eventually the story takes a insane twist into the world of fame and corporate with a topping of a hired killer...killing.

Overall, it's fun and the art is great. Showcases some insane moments filled with horror in a world not TOO far from our own. It's a nice look into what consumerism can do to us. I thought second half got a bit TOO wild and crazy for its own good and lost me a bit but the ending landed. A 3 out of 5.

This was a really fun surprise.

In a world where the light is gone, and plunged into darkness, we have a world where people can transform into monsters if the darkness takes over them. In this we have our main lead, Val, who actually was legally blind prior to the events. Now set in a world filled with darkness, she feels she has the power to survive with her little brother. In this post apocalyptical world we have Val take a job against her better judgement, which leads to a man in all black (like his whole body is just completely black save his teeth) now chasing them.

This was a lot of fun. From the kickass action, to Val being a badass, to the lore and world be interesting I really dug this. Scott Snyder stepping away from DC helped him a lot it seems because this is more inline with the Snyder I grew up loving. I also really liked the ending, as it doesn't end on a "happy" note and we might be more fucked than we imagined. I really hope this continues to be a strong series.

A 4 out of 5.

Dead Dead Demon continues to be a interesting ride as we finally deal with loss.

When one of the main character loses their life off screen we have these young group of friends trying to get through that. Ignoring it, playing jokes, screaming at each other, it's all raw and real emotions of dealing with losing someone close to you. We also deal with one of the friends going on a date, and get a glimpse into her life that's...well sad. Then we deal with graduation for the girls and a ending that is...well shit, it got me excited but also depressed a little. Sounds just about right for someone like Inio.

This series is a slow burn and much more about relationships and family and friends. I think the complicated nature of these characters and their emotions really help build this series. The "Dooming" ending is really interesting too and I wonder where we'll go from here.

A 4 out of 5.

A decent send off. I really enjoyed the moments with damien and Bruce. That felt like a goodbye to his Batman and Robin run. But hush returning as a villain was just annoying. But still decent.

This was a lot of moving blocks, and so not a HUGE amount happens, but plenty of set up.

Elecktra is whooping people's asses as Daredevil while Matt is in Jail. She's not having a good time, as she can't just gut people like normal she has to abide by Matt's no kill rule. She even meets a young girl who she begins to mentor. On the flip side Matt is trying to just serve his time. However, everyone in that prison, including the guy who runs it, wants him dead. This brings up a survival chapter that Matt might not be able to survive.

As always the art is fantastic. Some amazing fight scenes. I especially loves Electra's daredevil costume, looks SO good. I also really enjoyed Matt dealing with his consequences of his actions even though he's being ridiculous not taking some of these offers. I also think the Elecktra stuff is building towards big things but not there yet. So about a 3.5 out of 5.
