The war for love rages on. Hijinks happen such as who will call who first or text. How will one get the others number I'm their phone. Will they admit they like each other with a little push or is it too soon.

Setting up new characters or maybe just a one shot? Some real cool shots and some messed up deaths but felt like alot of set up.

This remains a fun series but not as funny as before. Still, getting to learn how the gaming process works and how much time and effort goes into it is pretty cool. I also like the characters and watching them defy their anime tropes is nice. For sure a laid back fun series to read.

This brings in Sensui and man does this get dark. Learn the history of why Sensui and his crew wants the demons to take over the world despite them being humans themselves. The fights pretty brutal and characters keep facing near death experiences. This arc feels bigger than dark tournament but not as quickly paced.

This was decent but the weakest entry so far.

This is about scarecrow fucking shit up. Making a fear state. Yep, fear toxin. Making whole state fear him. Clever title. But this is more a prelude to the event coming and it builds up how scarecrow gets control of the entire city while introducing a new character, miracle Molly, who is basically the woman of the people.

It's not bad, the art is as always amazing, and there's some great fight scenes mixed with interesting character moments for Bruce. I also liked Miracle Molly, and I thought she'd come across to Punchline but instead was way different and fun. I would like more of her. But nothing major happens and this feels like just a part 1 of a bigger story.

A 3 out of 5.

Wow this was great!

This little doggie Sophia gets introduced to a new home with SO many dogs. It seems like a fun experience for a new doggie to get a new home after being left behind. But soon Sophia stumbles on what REALLY happened to her after forgetting (like dogs normally do) and the use of dogs smelling sense to bring back memories makes for some shocking reveals.

This is a lot of fun with excellent art work. It goes into a direction I never expected and I was hooked upon finishing the first issue. I read this in one sitting in about 25 minutes and it was well worth it. Solid writing, excellent art, and great pacing. I don't even wanna give a hint of where this story goes but it's far more dark than I expected, check it out.

A bit of a weaker issue. Basically setting up Nightwing for the Fear State event. Some cool moments like Bruce and Dick working together. Barbara getting suited up. But overall, nothing too amazing just a set up issue.

Cool to see Honeybadge--I mean Scott get some love but the rest of the cast weren't all that interesting. This book didn't do much for me, got bored pretty quickly through. I guess new Mutants comics don't do much for me.

A pretty fun story starting Catwoman kicking old people's asses.

Now keep in mind this old lady has done horrible stuff. Killed kids, murdered husbands, and then corrupted her own family. So Salina whooping her ass is pretty fun. The art, storyline, dialogue are all solid. Basically Salina slipping to the aid of her sister right after breaking off with Bruce. But it's hard to see her heal as she's hurting from the previous events. While storyline was nothing amazing it was well paced and fun. A 3 out of 5.

This was SUPER FUN!

So you have our main character, Nathan, is shit out of luck. He went off to be a big time writer and failed. Now he returns to his father's place to try and pick up the pieces of his life. When he meets up with a friend he lets him know how shit things are, they argue, and then BAM, a black hole attaches to nathan and he becomes basically a superhero.

The origins itself is nothing new but it works. What REALLY works is the characters. Nathan and his friend have great chemistry. Nathan himself is a interesting character since we can all see ourselves in him when we're down on our luck. The fact he has good hearted parents but also pushy is something I can relate to personally as well. The way it balances Nathan trying to figure out his life while also saving people is great, but issue 5 kicks it into high gear and so much crazy shit happens you won't expect.

The art is solid, though simple, works for this style. I also think the suits a bit power rangers but they work overall as well. It's not the most original idea but it's one of the most fun origin superhero books I read in some time. A 4 out of 5.
