Bucky hasn't had a easy life and it's about to get even worse.

So, the world knows who Captain America is. After Zemo released information about Bucky and his winter soldier past, the whole world turns against the new captain america. This is mostly a story about turning the public's attention in favor of Bucky and showing how he was mind controlled but now is trying to make up for it. Half court room drama, half punching and kicking Sin in her ugly face, we have another Captain Marvel arc.

For the most part this is pretty damn good. I still think Ed Brubaker nails Bucky's thoughts so well and keeps him interesting throughout. I also think the art keeps up pretty good and the fight scenes are epic. The ending was a nice surprise though I'm curious where they go from here with good old Bucky. A 4 out of 5.

This run ends kind of...decent but I was hoping for more.

So after all the horrible events that happened, Frank pushes Cole to her limit. Forcing her to choose a life of revenge or to go back to living a normal one. After that whole thing Frank and Cole go after the one who caused her so much pain. Does it go well? Well fuck no, this is the Punisher after all. The last issue ends the whole Cole/Frank thing.

This isn't bad at all. Highly entertaining, brutal moments, and some great character development for Cole. It's just very predictable and I felt, up until now, the series wasn't. I am eager to read Warzones next but this was a great run that ended good, not great. A 3-3.5 out of 5.

This was okay.

I guess Brubaker was running out of steam a bit. I don't blame him. At this point he's written over 50+ issues. This is the fallou of the trials of captain america and Bucky in prison. They have some sort of fight club thing going on (does every prison story do this?). Then the 2nd half is Steve trying to deal with his friend gone and also trying to figure out if he should put back on the shield.

Overall, it's not bad, but kind of the run of the mil stories without much else. The jarring art change is a bit weird too. The stuff with Steve was interesting to see him debate where he knows he has to go. I thought the ending was a little meh though and the Bucky stuff just okay. A 2.5 out of 5. I'll round it up to a 3.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is just so damn fun.

So this volume really focuses on Ralph, Splinter, and a new villain. The side stories are basically Shredder trying to find someone to be his second in command after telling his daughter she ain't shit. Then the main focus is Ralph learning to tackle his anger. Next up is a new villain, which I remember the most from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 the movie. Remember the goofy evil turtle? Yeah, he's back, and he's kind of scary as shit here.

What I love about this series are the brother's interactions. It goofy as hell sometimes but you can feel the family vibe shine through. The turtles really fight together, kicking butt, and it looks great. I enjoy the character development of all of them but also April and Casey. The growth is nice and Shredder's growth is interesting. The Krang or whatever that bastards name is, is just okay. Probably the only weak part.

This is a easy 4 out of 5 because it has everything I really enjoy with turtles. Give me more!

Another okayish chapter.

I feel like these two don't really move at a normal pace. They confirm they like each other, even maybe love each other, and they've kissed a few times. However, it's like they hardly have regular conversations and mostly just flirt with the idea of being a couple. Still, the art is good, and the girls are cute, so there's that atleast.

Prison school is one the dumbest Manga I've EVER read. It's also extremely funny.

So these 5 boys go to all girls school and then since they become known as peeping toms go into a prison created by the girls. This prison for them is guarded by sexy women who beat the shit out of them whenever they say or do something bad. This first volume really focuses on our main characters trying to adjust to school life, go out on a date, and escape from the prison.

This is so stupid. The story makes no sense. It would never happen.

We got that out of the way, right? Now talking about the humor. It's really funny. From physical humor to great dialogue. All the characters are over the top but really entertaining. Also the art is great, and of course if like Fan Service, you're about to see a ton of ass and tits.

Dumb as hell? Oh yes, very much so. Funny and entertaining throughout? Oh yes, very much so. A 4 out of 5.

This was mehs. Ms. Marvel whoops some alien butt and...goes on a talk show. The only interesting part was the ending with Cap and Tony about to talk to her about civil war. The art is solid but it's very "show that ass" style art. A 2 out of 5.

This is wildly different than Brubaker's run. But that's a good thing.

I love Brubaker's run but after many spy thriller stories and plenty of WW2 flashbacks, Remender went on a whole new route. Now, we go into a alternate reality where Red Skull is not the baddie here but Zola is! Cap is transporter here and implanted with something but escapes with Zola's child. Then he raises the boy. This is basically a lot like the New God of War, which is awesome. We also get flashbacks to when Steve was a child with his mother and other kids.

I was really surprised a bit how much I enjoyed this. I'm not a mega fan of the whole alternate reality thing. But it worked here really well. Probably because Remender writes a really solid Steve, the action is intense, and the struggle is real. I also enjoyed the flashbacks a lot and wanted more. Learning about Steve as a child is great. The art is good though I've seen Romita Jr. do better.

Overall, I'm excited to get further in Rick's run. A 4 out of 5.

At this point you just want to scream at the characters "Just fucking do it already" and it's not to show a sex scene, but because they keep fumbling it around here. Then got the weird girl back who has a crush on Mei and now she's most of the center of attention here. The girls are silly still and don't talk to each other at all. It's getting frustrating. A 2 out of 5 only cause the art still great.

Daredevil really does have the best stories. This is easily one of my new favorite Daredevil stories.

So a little kid is brutally murdered in a backwoods area called Redemption. They blame all of it on a young kid, saying he's been evil since birth, and want him to get the death penalty. So Matt Murdock comes from NYC to this country side area and soon learns this religious ruled area is really fucked up. As Matt plays both enforcer with the daredevil suit, and lawyer during the day, can he save this man from getting convicted?

What works is the atmosphere and dialogue here. Finally we have a story of Matt being in court most of the time. On top of that the mystery of who's a killer and who isn't is great. The feeling of dread is perfect for this type of story and Matt's hopeless battle is hard to watch. The ending is a gut punch and made me so mad but that's the point of a great sad tale.

This is a must read for Matt Murdock fans. A 5 out of 5.
