After I saw the Divergent film I decided I must at once read the books! I absolutely fell in love with this book, I fell in love with everything about this. From the characters to the setting to each faction I love this. This is my favourite out of this series due to how it's written and how I adore this type of universe and her introduction to dauntless.

Absolutely amazing! The ending shocked me and I can't wait to read the next and final book in the series! I was literally fighting the urge to scream my lungs off when I read the last page in this book. Absolute perfection. What I liked best was knowing everything I read was only just a small part of the real big picture in this book.
I'm not going to lie, Divergent is better than Insurgent. However, I really did enjoy reading this book.

Choices. Seventeen-year-old Mia is faced with some tough ones: Stay true to her first love—music—even if it means losing her boyfriend and leaving her family and friends behind? Then one February morning Mia goes for a drive with her family, and in an instant, everything changes. Suddenly, all the choices are gone, except one. And it's the only one that matters.

If I Stay is a heartachingly beautiful book about the power of love, the true meaning of family, and the choices we all make. This made me cry and made my heart ache. This has stayed with me over the year and a half since i've read this, which I believe tells you something about how good this book actually is.

The third bone-breaking, belly-busting adventure in the series that puts the “funny” back in, um, funny series. That didn’t really work, did it? Such a great book!! I really enjoyed this one! I miss Skulduggery though.

Reread 2024 - I forgot how that ended!! Just as good as I remember and I love how attached Valkyrie is to Skullduggery, and how he cares for her (e.g letting her go first before him during the fight). Its a sweet bond they have!

This book was fantastic.

The plot was basically a 30 year old woman called Bea is suddenly very anxious about her wedding, on the wedding day. And as she is walking down the isle she trips and falls over: this is where her future splits in two. In one reality she runs away at the altar but in the second she carries on walking and gets married.

In this book you are basically with Bea sorting out her troubled past in two separate lives which somehow link together as one.

I loved this book, but I was rooting for both sides of her life but at different times.
But I would definitely read this book if you love a good chick flick with humour added in.
LITTLE BIT OF A SPOILER*

Depression is also mentioned in this book which is relatable to me personally as I have friends suffering from it.

Well, what can I say about 'Chase'? I have only recently gotten into Dean koontz, and well, have fallen in love with his style of writing.
This book is about a 24 year old war hero with a traumatised war experience and is allowed honourable discharge. After being awarded the medal of honour by the president, Chase decides to take a drive to the local lovers spot where he once sat with a young girl. But when a lovers night gone wrong occurs he decides to step in and take action.

I loved the plot of this book, and how the suspense was laid out. My only flaw with this book is how the ending felt a bit rushed, after spending a good few chapters building up to the big scene it just seemed to quick and an easy way out. Apart from that it's a brilliant book and deserves to be read by anyone who loves crime/thriller books.

To start this review off, I shall say this book was actually my mothers before I adopted to reading it. It's such a shame my mother hadn't read this before because it is truly a great book for the matured.

It includes mental health issues which would be considered 'taboo' which I think Mr. Abbott addressed particularly well.

It's all about the main character whose having trouble with his past about killing his best friend. He has many phobia's linking to his troubled past which he has recollecting completely. But then one day his psychiatrist is murdered after getting a mysterious call from her, he then decides to find out who killed her and to avenge her. However on the way, he adopts many people who were also seeing his psychiatrist who he needs to solve this mystery.

I found this book a little bit hard to follow because it was so long and a little bit complex for me being an adult book and me being in my early teenage years. BUT I enjoyed the plot twists and the whole thing very much, but i wouldn't recommend it to anyone younger than 14 or so due to the things mentioned in this book.

But please read it and enjoy it as much as i did.

Darren Shan is going home--and his world is going to hell. Things are coming together and getting very dramatic. This penultimate book and it's all getting very exciting. I liked how prophecy and fate begin to play a major role in this story. It's interesting to see how prophecies of the future affect what the characters do in the present. Finally, all of the threads from the previous books are tying up rather nicely.

The Lake of Souls takes place right after Killers of the Dawn. Darren cannot cry. He feels numb, but with the help of the bearded Lady, Truska, he eventually does so. Because of Mr Crepsley's death this book was also a recovery just not for Darren but for me as well.
But some people would expect this book to be a bit boring, well at the beginning it was kind of slow but definitely caught up by the middle with such an interesting plot with Harkat.

I did enjoy it thoroughly and I would recommend it to anyone who has read this series, because if you haven't read it this book in particular would give away a lot of spoilers.

This book is a perfect conclusion to the hunters trilogy. I gave it 4/5 because I was devastated by the last few chapters. But I can't wait to read the last trilogy of this series! This book is fantastic, the reason why i have added it to my "books i have hysterically cried at" because my favourite character happens to horribly perish in the last few chapters. All down to one character which i always thought was pompous and arrogant from the first book. But this book is really quite interesting with how he laid it all out. Overall this is worth reading.

Oh, and Mr if you happen to stumble upon this, you are evil for deceiving me with that phony chapter before you being to describe Mr Crepsley's tortuous death.
