If there was a higher ranking, I would give it

Reread November 2018
I’ve fallen in love with it all over again, I need a physical copy so I can create a shrine to it

Loved it with all my heart! Read in one sitting!

I absolutely adore the art work - the simple lines of the figures accompanied by the intricate scenery is fabulous. The story also tugged at my heart, mysterious and heart felt. Though I would’ve liked a more conclusive ending, but then maybe I wouldn’t like it as much if it was more closed book? I feel the openness of the ending sums up the whole ‘looseness’ of the book - the loose feeling of summer holidays and the days blur into one another

The artwork in this is incredible, and I love Marcus Sedgwick but I couldn't get into it.
Though I did read it around 11-12 at night slots maybe it was my sleep deprived state mucking it up, but I just couldn't sink my teeth it.
Despite this what I did soak in was good and I loved the idea of the True Church and that sort of government style

The humour is brilliant I love it
