Many of my friends didnt like twilight because of the films, and quite frankly i think Kristen Stewert cannot act. However, the books on the other hand are amazing! In this book it tells the story of Bella Swan whose parents are divorced and she is going to stay with her dad whom she doesnt have a relationship with and lives in a far away town called Forks. Where upon she meets this dreamy boy called Edward who turns her world upside down in the next 4 books in the series, but to get the other books you need to start here. I would highly recommend this read if you are either A)a teenage girl B)likes romantic books or C) wants to relate to this girl whose having to deal with one disaster after another.
this series is great, it has humour and horror and it gets you thinking. The plot is fantastic and the characters out did themselves. If you like anime and manga give it a read or a watch, as there is an anime series as well
Now, i am a big anime freak and manga reader. Take it from me this anime is superb and the manga is just as good. But to be honest i believe the artwork is better in the manga, but isnt that nearly always the case?
In this book continues after misa is in interrogation and light disowns the two death notes making him forget he's kira.
I loved this so much, so read it and join me in loving it.

As the third CIRQUE DU FREAK chronicle begins, Mr. Crepsley is paid a visit by an old friend, Gavner Purl, a member of the vampire police force. Mr. Crepsley refuses to tell Darren what he and Gavner talked about but announces they must leave the Cirque to go live in the city. Darren, who is happy with life at the Cirque, is upset by the idea of having to go live someplace strange. He complains to Mr. Crepsley, who comes up with the idea of taking Darren's closest friend, snake-boy Evra Von, with them. This way, Darren can have a guardian and companion, yet still assist Mr. Crepsley with...well, Darren's not entirely sure what it is that Mr. Crepsley will be doing in the city, but it beats a stake through the heart.
City life is great until Darren comes home one night to find Evra glued to the television watching a news report about the discovery of six bodies drained of their blood. Convinced that it's Mr. Crepsley who's been killing these innocent people, Darren sleuths up and follows him to a slaughterhouse where he meets an enemy more terrifying than he could have ever imagined. Darren must use his mind and rely on luck to overtake his new nemesis, even if it means putting his friends at risk. Cliffhangers at the end of every chapter will keep those pages turning as Darren does battle with someone who could end his life.

How can this book end on a massive cliff hanger? Darren has to undergo the Trials of Death to prove himself to the vampires. Failure to complete the trials results in death (which I think all of the readers thinks impossible). Pretty harrowing and brutal, this macabre fifth book in the running Cirque du Freak series continues in the vein of all those that came before it with a lot of action, a lot of blood, and a lot of fun.
Scarlett is a story about a girl who is a bit of a trouble maker. She has been expelled from five schools in two years and she only lasted four months at Greenhall Academy. Now Mum's had enough, the suitcases are packed and Scarlett is shoved onto a plane to go and live with her Dad who - as far as Scarlett is concerned- is a waste of space. As if this isn't enough, she has a new stepsister to ignore and her evil stepmum who keeps trying to be nice AND her Dad's new baby on the way. She has to be on guard - she's keen on keeping her distance. Then there is Kian...
Scarlett is a great young adult read. You really feel like you are in the story because of Scarlett's strong narrative.

Pseudonymous Bosch is the anonymous pseudonymous author of the Secret Series. Not much is known about him other than that he has a passionate love of chocolate and cheese and an equally passionate hatred of mayonnaise.
This book is perfect for middle grade! It doesn't get into anything inappropriate, and it's an honestly fun book.

As a massive fan of the Darren Shan saga I had high expectations for this series! I have previously read the Darren Shan Saga, and was thrilled to be finally reading this. Because it's the first book in the series, I will hold this one as my favourite because it introduces all of the characters (also because of the gory start).
Gore has always been a big turn on for me in books and movies alike, but this has bit an all time high. The mere idea of this book is brilliant and how the story unfolds, with the twists and turns in the book and the unbelievable ending!!

Darren Shan was just an ordinary schoolboy - until his visit to the Cirque Du Freak. Now, as he struggles with his new life as a Vampire's Assistant, he tries desperately to resist the one temptation that sickens him, the one thing that can keep him alive. There is a very good reason why I love Darren Shan's work, it's intriguing and most of all it provides yet another unique and entirely different take on the vampire. What makes Darren Shan's books a great read is that even though they're over 200 pages long, I can easily finish them. The action within this book is very quick and there's always something new for you to read. The ending for me was a little shocking, but the way that Darren Shan writes makes you want to read the next book.
A wonderful tale of family and fairies from the phenomenally successful Jacqueline Wilson. This is a wonderful, wonderful book, absolutely enchanting, and a must-read for anyone who's ever been weird, lonely, and/or fascinated by the beautiful butterflies pinned to the corkboard of life. When I was in primary school I was captivated by Jacqueline Wilson's novels. They really got me excited about reading and writing, and Wilson continues to inspire me to this day.
