This is the second book in the series, after Twilight. It continues Bella Swan's love story but when her beloved Edward goes away she has to seek comfort else where. If you've seen the films and thought ill of this series i would recommend reading the books because i enjoyed myself reading these. I kept fangirling over Edward and Jacob personally.

This book is absolutely amazing. Set in a time not to far in the future where money rules over the poor, if you have seen the first film i would insist you read this because the film doesnt do it justice. It shows you the point of view of katniss and her struggle in the arena with many problems. If you like action, romance and comedy read this.

This book has to be my favourite in the series. It shows the point of view of katniss after the games and her on her victory tour with peeta. But a big plot twist happens and you dont want to miss it. Although the big action doesnt happen until about 3/4 way through the book its still worth reading.

This book was clever, thrilling and enjoyable. It shows the point of view from an artificial life intelligence created by the ex husband of the woman the intelligence is now obsessed over. The chapters switched from him rambling on to his creator to let him have a body, to the actual story line with the woman. But the one thing I loved most about this was the ending. The last few pages were amazing and kept me hooked throughout. If you are contemplating whether or not to read this book, I would read it if I were you.

This book got me into darren shan, he is a horror writer. This book has a lot of gore and blood but a good twist. If you like the idea of the abnormal and fantasy (vampires, lizard boys) i would read it. Also check out his latest series Zom-B because its better in my opinion. This series is about 12-15 short books so it doesnt take long to read just one.

He is a master of horror. This is a great book is jam-packed zombie gore, but also with great depth with the story. And with a twist at the end too great to even describe. Both me and my english teacher both enjoyed reading this so give it a try and if you like horror i promise you, you WILL want more.

Its fantastic, it really follows up the first book well with the plot and explains a lot in the first book. I got so into it i read it within a day, if you like gore read this and the first book.

This book... Entertained me, not to the standards as YA books have but to a child's entertainment. I read this quite young and found it funny to read. But if i were to re-read this now, i would probably find this boring and too cheesy for words. However it is not a bad book just not a book for my age group or me personally. If you are into silly, small books for a little giggle this is a good one to pick.

Angel cake: a look into the mind of a young polish girl living in England with a crush on the school's bad boy. This book wasn't as good as the others in Cathy Cassidy's series but still a really good one. It shows her struggle of the obvious language barrier she posses, the emotions of a young girl developing a crush while subtly tackling issues teenagers face in schools today. Overall a good read for a girl in her pre-teens or maybe even her teens.

Before reading this I didn't read any of the previous books in this series by Ms. Johnson.

This book is perfect, thrilling and a little bit chilling. Although the beginning is slow and dull, i had to push through to get to the interesting parts. Even though the beginning was hard to read it was interesting and kept my slight interest. The progression of this book took a turn of events I wasn't expecting, to be honest I had no clue to where this book was going in the first place, but still.
Overall it is a great book (a very short one might I add), great plot (it took me by surprise) and a brilliant twist in the book I wasn't expecting. Therefore you must read this book and think it as brilliant as I do.
