I waited to read this book until Kingdom of the Cursed came out because I for whatever reason, thought it was a duology. Spoiler alert, it is not. This book was however fantastic. I loved Wraith. This was a club read in October on Book Battle and I read both this book and the sequel and loved both equally. Demon princes of hell yes please. This checked all my boxes. Morally grey man, yes. Enemies to lovers, yes. Twists and turns yes! Bring on the next book!

Did I just get edged, by a book, and left hanging and waiting for a whole year for the next book....yes yes I did. Did I love every second of the book, yes yes I did. Did I throw the book across the room and scream, also yes. Did I pick it up and say sorry immediately, yes yes I did.

I had so many theories going into this and I am so glad that I was correct (much to the irritation to the people I was buddy reading this with). What can I say weird things speak to me and show me the way.

I need the next book yesterday. I am not going to be patient and this is going to be painful.

I am a huge Loki fan and when I heard that this book was a thing I needed to have it. It did not disappoint. The fact we get the pansexual, gender fluid Loki that we deserve is amazing. We need Tom Hiddleston in those knee high heeled boots like right now.

I devoured this book and the writing is amazing. I could literally hear Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth in the dialog in the book. The insight of this book into the backstory of Loki is amazing. It takes you into Loki growing up and really gives you a backstory that just makes your heart break. If you are a fan of Loki and need something to tide you over until the show in June this is what you need. I really hope that they tie some of the backstory from this into the show somehow.

This book was so good that I think it has become my new actual favourite book. I just finished a heavy series and was looking for something light and easy to read, that would have me hooked right away. This gave me all those things. I laughed, I cried and I would die for Lucy. If you like the Umbrella Academy you will love this book.

With everything going on with the pandemic and needing an escape from everything I have returned to my love of reading. This book didn't have anything super heavy and was just a delightful escape from reality. I have the physical book so I put my phone away and just dug right into it. Then I couldn't put it down.

Again I got sucked into reading a book because of Tiktok and I have to say this book had no business being as good as it is. My god. I would even reread this it was so good. It's cute, its adorable, its spicy and slowburn and it has monster fucking. What more could you ask for from a book really? Is this a thing now...am I into this now...

I need more books like this book! I devoured it in a super short amount of time and definitely didn't get any sleep the night I finished it because I could not put it down. This book has such a cool magic system and the world building is great! I loved the representation with polyamory and pan-sexuality along with very well done asexuality and non-binary rep. I loved Roven and the entire time I was bouncing between yes Lydia and no Ivrilos and for once the love triangle didn't have to be chosen! This got me right out of a reading slump! I wish this could have been turned into a duology so that it could have been expanded into a bit more but I still love it and it's found a forever spot on my physical shelf and will be read again for sure!

Okay this book was fantastic. I did not realize how much I needed plus sized rep in a romance book (that also was spicy) until I read this book. This book made me feel things and as someone who reads way too much fan fiction it hit all the marks. It was easy to read ( and as someone with ADHD it is really hard to make my brain pay attention) and I finished it in 2 days. I cannot wait to read the sequel (but unfortunately with the flooding in BC it is stuck somewhere *cries).

I love both Marcus and April. Marcus' struggle with dyslexia was written about beautifully and I loved how he learned work arounds that worked for him. April's relationship with her parents really hit me the feels because of my own issues with weight and the way people tend to talk about it. I didn't even realize my own crap until reading that book and it's made me a stronger person and willing to stand up for myself when it comes to anyone making comments about it. I will reread this book many times to come and even ordered a special edition of it!

First of all I listened to the Audio version of this book and highly recommend that if you have not. The narration is out of this world fantastic. I follow someone on TikTok who recommended this and I realized who was doing the narration and pre-ordered it immediately. I love all things Loki and I will read anything I can get my hands on. This follows Norse God Loki not MCU Loki and this book hits every check box for me when it comes to representing what I see Loki as. Gender-fluid and pan-sexual, Loki done correctly, yes please.

I love the way Sigyn and Loki's relationship progresses throughout the book. I love the insights into Loki's way of thinking we get. I love hearing about his past and how it's shaped into how he's acting in the future and I cannot wait to delve right into the next book in this series. Right now after the first book I really just want to give Loki a hug and then help him bring force Ragnarok.

This was a club read for Book Battle one month and I started reading and binged the entire series in almost one sitting. It is fantastic. I loved the art style, I loved the story and I think it is top tier for a Hades/Persephone retelling which I will always be a sucker for. I now wait with baited breath each week for a new episode to come out. I can't even wait for the free episodes, I need to unlock the episodes because I cannot wait!

I also own the physical copy for volume #1 and it is 100% worth owning it.
