Loved it. Got a bit repetitive at times and I wished the ending had more of an oomph / closed the story out a bit better

Confusing narration that I believe could have been avoided, but reading Leah's perspective as a NB fat person was unlike anything I've experienced. As a college student around the same time as Leah and Bernie, Emma hit the nail on the effing head when it comes to what it was like to be queer at the time. A moment in history, marked by a beautiful book about self discovery and passion. I loved Leah and I loved Bernie and wish them so much love. I so wish I could see their project at the end.

Exactly what I wanted -- a quick, easy to listen to audiobook that kept me guessing! A really interesting concept and I found myself really curious about the motive. The only thing I didn't like is that I predicted the twist mid-book, and was just WAITING for it to actually dawn on Gwen. Overall fun and recommend for people who enjoy thrillers that aren't *TOO* thrilling.
