YUPPPP!!! This is 100% the best book I read in 2021. YUP! you heard that right!

The love Dev and Charlie share is one of the most genuine beautiful love stories I've seen in SO long. I believed it. I felt it. And it was super apparent they were meant to be together.

The way Alison deals with anxiety is one of the best aspects of this book -I've never seen mental health/panic attacks depicted so realistically in a book and this one did the da*m thing. The way Dev and Charlie helped each other through their mental health journeys was beautiful and incredibly realistic.

Not to mention the cast of characters?! Jules, Ryan, Parisa, omg I loved them all and by the end they became like family.

I loved this one. LOVEEDDDD THIS ONE. And I NEED a sequel with Daphne as the lesbian Bachelorette we all DESERVE!!

I love Olive and Adam so much!!

F**k tom!!

One of the best romances of the year for sure!

3.5 stars rounded up! If The Shoe Fits was an adorable Cinderella-type rom-com!

PLEASE NOTE: I listened to this on audio and I wasn't the biggest fan of the narrator's voice. (It was very cheesy and a little cringey at times) so please know this going into the audio!

I enjoyed the story a lot but didn't see as much of a connection between Cindy and Henry. I loved Cindy's journey and how she was UNAPOLOGETICALLY fat. She never once apologized for her size and I loved that aspect of the book. However, I was looking forward to some steamy scenes because there are very few with plus-sized women. I realized after I finished that the book is level zero when it comes to steam.

I think this was a cute, easy rom-com and I love the plus-sized rep!
