I haven't kept up with Connor Franta much in the past few years, besides the occasional TikTok of his I see on my FYP, but I found this audiobook when perusing Libby and immediately felt a wave of nostalgia just seeing Connor's name. He was my favorite YouTuber when I was in middle school and I love his first memoir when it came out, so I wanted to give this one a shot too and it did not disappoint! I absolutely loved it and thought Franta did an amazing job of reading it for the audiobook.

I love love love books about baking/cooking/etc. so I absolutely loved that part of this book so much! I'll be honest, I don't read much manga or graphic novels or anything, but I decided to read this as part of Queer Liberation Library's summer reading bingo and I'm really glad I did because this is such an enjoyable book - I will definitely be reading the rest of the series as well.

I absolutely loved this book! I loved the protagonist and seeing the world of coffee through her eyes in this setting was really fun. Every time I read this book it made me crave a nice, hot cup of coffee (and I don’t even really like hot coffee most of the time), the descriptions of the drinks and foods were just *chef’s kiss* (pun intended). I love books about cooking and baking and putting something like that in a fantasy setting made for a really great read.
