Trying and failing to be The Martian. It was fun to read, and there's a neat twist, but... ehhhhhh. I expect that it'll make a MUCH better movie, primarily because I can see Ryan Reyonolds (I think it's Ryan Reynolds?) playing the guy in a more more convincing and engaging way than he was written.

I like this, and the ship, and the plot was largely predictable but also still interesting. That said, dear god did this book need better editing - waaay too much fatty issue, as it were. Which is a shame, because I think this could have been really, really good. Would still read more in this universe (lol).
