I LOVED this - Abby Jimenez is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, right up there with Ali Hazelwood. For such a short story, she managed to get all of the essential plot points in there and make me fall in love with the characters. And - IT WAS REALISTIC! This could absolutely happen in real life, which makes it all the more special to me.
A what now!? My eyeballs are so confused. I don't even have words lol.
I so desperately wanted to love this book. It had all the potential for me to love it so much - suspense, fairytales, villains and bad boys. But it fell just a little short for me. I feel like I was missing half the story every time I picked it up and I just could not get into it!
I'm struggling to review this one because it was so short. I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. The FMC is a scientist, one of the last in earth. The planet is ending in 48 hours and they're staying behind to document it.
I would 100% read a full length novel with this plot! It was SO good! Twisty murder mystery with fairytale characters? I'm in!
Short and simple - which isn't a bad thing! This little novella would be great for Bridgerton lovers I think!
I liked the premise of this one! I think I'd try a full length book about this, honestly. It follows a little alien creature who has a short life span and thinks humans are immortal because no one has seen them die.
I enjoyed learning about an unknown woman in history for me! We all hear about Amelia Earhart but I've never heard of Ruth Nichols. This book definitely sparked my curiosity in her!
Cute and to the point. I did find the MCs a bit much but honestly - it's an improbable meeting and cute concept.
I really need to look at the summary or even the genres before I go into books. I thought this would be an actual story - not a rambling of words about childhood Halloweens that honestly had no plot or purpose.
