I don't do book reviews. ever. but I felt today was an exception.
I loved it. It was one of those books I couldn't put down. I was so sure of myself in the middle, that I had it all figured out. And then BOOM. Well worth the read.

really enjoyed this read. lots of travel, laughs, tears, and lessons to just let it go and enjoy the moment.

I'm not gonna lie - this was a great beginning, meh middle, and eeehhh ending. Not quite sure how I feel about it honestly.

Focused more on the investigation and less on the trials, which I appreciated. It kept my interest - but was it the most well written? Not especially - very technical. I would read more of his books however, so it wasn't a turn off.

Very different from the TV show, which I also immensely enjoy. Wish there was more in Fillory though -

I'm sure this book is wonderful for folks who love the civil war or non-fiction. It reads like a textbook and I just couldn't make it through. The audiobook does NOT help. Tried that.

I read these books as a child. The audio book version is fantastic and they're just as wonderful as I remember them being. 100% recommend, especially if you just want a fast story as an adult.
