Thank god this book went in a completely different direction. I was almost scared

Why did I really like this?! For some reason o convinced myself that this book was going to be absolute dog shit, but it was actually so damn good! Of course this is only the first book in the series, so there’s still plenty of time for me to end up hating it! But as of this book it was REALLY GOOD!
