MC keeps calling his indentured servant (WoC) "nubile slave girl" as a joke. 

It just drags. I'm skimming over the rest now on Royal Road.

Setup feels very rapey/noncon. Don't want to read a romance with them.

Good book (already read a previous version), but I decided to go with the very traditional approach and therefore didn't continue reading about alternative approaches. 

Don't like the scientist's POVs and that's making me avoid reading in general. Better break it off and read something else. 

I read 30% pretty quick, but was annoyed about Gal's hostility while reading. Then I took a break from reading (Sandman dropped) and now I can't get into it again because I don't want to drag myself through all the negative feelings.

Startet in autumn 2021, lost focus around the middle because I don't like reading multiple POV and around the middle of the story new POVs with flashbacks that summarized what happened so far but from the new POV were introduced. 
Restarted the book in 01/2022 and enjoyed the perpetrators POV immensly, but afterwards I lost focus again. It's just not for me. 

Corona depression and "I rather read fanfic" definitiv issues too. Would try another book of the author in future. 

Consent issues
