i loved it ! this was so much fun. the whole hockey star x team fan was very nice.
fuckboy reverts to loverboy is even more funny and sweet.

i can't wait to read more about the whole chicago thunder team. they all seem to be such nice fellas.

i got my friend into hockey romances and now she wants her own. so i recommended her this book because this is most likely what she'd want to happen to her.

okay so i listened to it on everand and i wasn't used to the narrator. the voice he adopted for kip was a pain. he sounded like a stupid bodybuilder that only knew how to make smoothies.
but as i got deeper into the book i learned the not pay attention to the annoying voice and appreciate how sweet kip was and how in love he is with scott.
i was a nice read. i've reading a fair amount of hockey romances so there isn't anything new with the whole coming out and being in a relationship with a commoner, but it was a very nice read !

cw - age gap (18 year gap), bdsm

listened to the audiobook on everand and this was interesting.
i am not much of an age-gap reader especially when it involves family and a child you've seen grow and have a oncle/nephew relationship (not blood related, let it be clear). top it all up with bdsm and i was worried the story would take a weird turn.
another review on goodreads has made me chuckle and comforted me in the read !

anyways, i quite liked the read. the angst, bdsm and relationship were all well built and made forget the whole uneasiness i originally felt at the cw and trope !

i was honored to receive an arc in exchange for an honest review.

i have been waiting for this one for so long !
i love silas and sam so dearly and i have been waiting for their story after under the lupine moon for so long i was excited when we were nearing the release date.

i love silas. he is so crazy about sam but still remains respectful and keeps his distance vent though he knows how much the mean to each other. i did want to shake sam a couple of times for how stubborn he was, but it did keep the story going otherwise they'd have been together early and we love a yearning and struggling alpha.
sam's work was intersting and i loved how silas was not jugdemental and actually loved it. supportive hubby let's go !
gosh, i need another book about them asap. of even illustrated comics ! i'm sure they are super hot together !

the cover is absolutely stunning and helped me visualize the pair even better.

rep - henri could/might be on the ace spectrum

let's be honest, i hated atlas at first. the dude is so bitter (understandably so, but he was so mean to our sweet german shepherd)
but as he warmed up to henri i started liking him a bit, but i do wish to see more depth in those characters because they have so much potential !

i may or may not have realized that i should have read the previous books around 40% of the books because i think i missed out on on some info to get the story better.

should have searched more rather than jump on the first primal play mm i could find !

tw - mention of suicide, death of a loved one
cw - depression, near death experience

five stars, loved it, i'd have 14 of those.
the love, the reflection, the introspection, the sadness love and passion
they are couple with many problems related to their work, mental health, orientation and everything and throughout the book they fight and try to improve and make it better.

one moment actually made me so emotional i might have cried.

oh this was GOOD !

the tension, the undecisiveness, the development, the love growing, the questionning, the choices that led them to their mistakes and that ending.. everything was amazing.
they made mistakes, they regretted things to meet better (kinda, let's be honest this ending was not perfect, but it was the best one -for the time being-)
