I enjoyed this book but I wouldn’t reread it. I really wish this book was longer and went deeper into some of the topics. The narrators voice and style suit the overall vibe of the audiobook. But I think audio book is expensive for what you get. 

This books examines the loneliness one can feel while still being surround by family or a university filled with people. The era in which the book was written definitely shines through.

I really enjoyed Sabrina when I was a child and rereading it now it’s still as cute and fills me with happy nostalgia from reading them back then.

I think the adolescent bed wetting could have been handled in a better way. The female characters lacked depth and most of the book their main concern is getting boyfriends. The mystery of who or what is storking them  kept me guess right to the ending. The depictions of Wicca were also a good twist on the witchcraft.

This novel was a trip & if your a fan of Jane Eyre and you want something fun and light this book is for you. It’s got so many inside jokes for booklovers - I really enjoyed it.

It’s an extremely reflective journey on life even for a literary novel and motherhood and the complicated relationships between mothers and daughters. I did feel  there were certain threads I wanted to explore more and some I thought could be cut back. One thing I did love about this book is how it showed that a small action that does seem important can actual result in trauma for a child.I really enjoyed Tom Lake by @annpatchett . It explores the complicated relationships mothers & daughters have. The book captures that claustrophobic feeling of those early pandemic days. It left me with a melancholy optimism. But this is a book for anyone whose ever felt lonely in a room filled with people.
