This holiday romance takes a spooky turn when Billy and Donna do a seance with soulmates Lara & Lars who owned Donna new home. This book is spice right out the gate-“ I grab his shirt and pull him down for a kiss”.

I read this book while listening to the audio book and absolutely loved the male narrators voice Connor Crais.

I think I have found a new favourite romance author and can’t wait to read more from this author

The comic wasn’t what I hoped it be. The story is adequate but I think Halloween girl could be so much more.

This truly dark sleeping beauty retelling is a must read especially during spooky season. The illustrations are creepy & stunning. The story is strange and bizarre this is definitely a comic that will leave you feeling uncomfortable.

I found it to be a hypnotic read that like a slow crash you can’t look away from.  The story looks at women who have been infected by sleeping illness and during the volume these women wake up but are forever changed.

The multiple POVs in the comic also keeps the pacing fast and tension high.

To me this is far more horror graphic novel than traditional mystery.
