I just can't imagine picking this back up. Ever. I look at it and go "oh, yeah, I was reading that before it was returned to the library. Huh." Not bad, just cannot be excited at all about it.

I just don't care. The plot is pretty obvious, and there's nothing about the writing that makes me think there's something being hidden, nothing that's leaving me second-guessing, nothing that makes me excited to travel to the end with these characters. 
Edit, 11/30: I was correct. There was too big a slip too early on. I went and read spoilers. It was exactly what I thought, and apparently the characters never got any better. Was curious, but glad I got out. 

I created my DNF shelf in this book's "honor." I reconsidered a relationship because of my ex's devotion to the idea of a relationship that resembled this book. I know more about the author's kinks than I ever wanted to know, and I hate all of them. 

Some books make you so excited you want to share them with the world, or so seen that you almost want to keep them safe just for you. This book made me so disgusted I want to trumpet to all living beings that it should not be read. I don't believe in burning books, but if you told me I must burn one for some reason, if there was no way around it, it would be this one. 

So many secrets and I care about none of them. 

Was checking to see how close to the end I was, since it seemed clear it had to be almost over. 
It was nowhere near. I could not any longer.
