A solid 2.5 stars. If jot for the last 100 pages or so i would absolutely round down to 2 stars. The first 3/4 of this book were so predictable it was boring. Incredibly obvious foreshadowing that stuck out like a sore thumb. The introduction of the side characters was so vague that I honestly don't remember who is who outside of the core 5 or 6 characters in the book.

Based off the ending I have pretty high hopes for book 2 and 3. I was kind of let down by this one.
