This was stunning. I listened to the audiobook, narrated by the author, and Della has the most beautiful, soothing voice. I would happily listen to her narrate grocery lists and find it relaxing. The title, Small Cures, is quite fitting because this book is a warm hug in poetry form. I was getting emotional over wounds I didn't even realize were open while listening to this. 💜 HIGHLY recommend this to my fellow poetry lovers!
That was gross, creepy fun. This would make a REALLY good film in the right director's hands. I kept imagining it with lots of weird, unsettling camera shots and I could see it going so well!
This was SO good! I'm not sure, but I think it would be pretty enjoyable for people who haven't played the game. As someone who finally picked up the game earlier this year and fell into a DEEP spiral of obsession over it, I adored this. It was neat to see some of the inner workings of the lamb's mind and the minds of their followers! I'm really excited that there will be future issues and I can't wait to read them!
This was so much fun! I've been meaning to read one of Ronald Kelly's short story collections for a while and I'm really happy that I finally did. All of the stories felt really clearly holiday-themed, which is exactly what I needed since I've been having a hard time getting into the holiday spirit this year, to tell the truth.
I think my favorite stories were 'Depravity Road', 'The Winds Within', and 'Beneath the Branches', but they were all genuinely enjoyable. A few of the stories were certainly less creepy than others, but there's something in here for everyone to like.
Buddy read with Misty! ♥

I narrowly refrain from making a joke about his jingle balls, and am immensely proud of my restraint. Look at me, not babbling inappropriately! I'm already making progress.
This was an absolute delight. After being disappointed in the 3rd and 4th Under the Mistletoe novellas, I was nervous going into this finale, but it was such a great redemption. The main character was fully lovable, there was great chemistry between the MCs, and most of all, the short page count didn't stop it from evoking some serious reactions from me. I laughed out loud a few times and even got choked up once when Evie was reminiscing on her late grandmother. I would say this was a near tie with Cruel Winter with You for my favorite from the collection.
Best of all, I got to read this entire collection with my best friend, and that made it even better. ♥ Happy holidays, friends!
I don't know what it was, but I really couldn't stand the MMC. 😩 I felt like, every time she tried to thank him for being kind, he brushed it off like it was nothing, wasn't his idea, etc., and then would instantly turn it around on her like, "Oh, YOU have a crush on ME!" and it felt so high school.
I feel like the odd one out here for sure, but I thought this was really cute. 😂 I was a little confused in the beginning, and I definitely wish it'd had more Christmas vibes, but I actually giggled out loud a couple of times over the lewd hot dog van jokes and I thought the characters were cute enough to root for. I'm such a sucker for people confessing their feelings through games (never have I ever, truth or dare, etc.), I just think it's cute and cheesy 😂
