Of all the stories, I think 1922 is my favorite. However that's not to say that the other 3 are not good! Fair Extension was the one that left me the most conflicted. Big Driver was the hardest to read, and the one that infuriated me most. A Good Marriage was the quiet storm. Overall once I finished the book, as Stephen says, "I think we've been down here in the dark long enough." However, I will probably one day return to read 1922 once again, as this story stuck with me for a long time.

Sucked me in completely, I loved this book. I basically read this book in a sort of horrified trance. I hate how much I loved Annie. In the end I even began to feel bad for her, root for her even, because she had such a child like desire to read Mysery's Return. And she went thru such effort to make their book completion celebration. But I was also terrified of her. Overall, very good read. I went and watched the move right after, and Kathy Bates is incredible.
