This book has a very interesting start, amazing potential and hooks you right in! But as I kept reading, the action remained the same, nothing too exciting really happens. I feel the potential is wasted on a romantic plot other than exploring a much more exciting story.

I enjoyed the take on living life as a different person, A's perspective and observations on each new person and their lives and personalities is refreshing.
But I also feel there was too much of a cycle to the book, you start to see a pattern and to me that's not exiting.

What made this mediocre for me is the fact that once you get to the end of the book, you realize its part of trilogy. Which made me think that much of the story is withheld in order to maximize...erm...profit potential for a book set. I dont think this story is worth 3 books, I feel it would have a better impact as a novel, but with only 1/3 of a story, what do I know?

What I do know, is that I'll definitely think twice about buying the 2nd book whenever it comes out.

I'm gonna keep this short and simple.
This book is way too repetitive, lacks basic punctuation and sentence structures suck.
There is an entire page in this book that looks like this

"Cry.
Fight.
Mom.
Dad.
Brother.
Cry.
Fight.
Live.
Torch.
Pipe.
Bottle.
Sick.
Sick.
Sick."

We'll you get the point, it's trying to be, what, poetic? Dramatic even?
No, it's wasting time, it's lazy writing. It's constant repetition of words and sentences.

Do you know how many times I had to read "I am an Alcoholic and a Drug Addict and a Criminal"?
Enough that I don't ever want to lay eyes on that sentence again.

This story was interesting and captivating and it could have been told in 300 pages or less.
A 1/4 of to book is just repetition for the purpose of exaggeration or emphasis and just comes across as annoying.
More often than not I would skim parts that I know have nothing to add to the story.

I'm give it a 2 star because by the time I got to the last 50 pages I already wanted the book to end.

Good read, quite enjoyable!
