One of those classics that gets talked about a lot, probably due to the title and the effect it had during its time period. The cold war era paranoia and fear spawned a lot of fiction that was not seen before, hence the cultural impact. 

 DNF @25%, a very obnoxious first 1/4. I saw it recommended and felt like it was right up my alley, but I find these characters too unlikeable, and the way the narrator talked about his wife and women in the beginning really put me off.
