3 books in and I think America is my least favorite YA dystopian fmc. I said what I said. She's fine but her back and forth drives me crazy and I feel like she didnt really do anything for Maxon. Maxon deserves better but.. it's fine. Okay, aside from that, I was pumped to get more rebel action in this one and events toward the end caught me by surprise. But then that was it! It was underwhelming and I wanted more. But all in all, great trilogy.

This book kinda reminded me of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. It was whimsical and so fun. All the characters were so unique and funny and loveable and I just want to give them all a hug and adopt them all.

“The things we fear the most are often the things we should fear the least. It’s irrational, but it’s what makes us human. And if we’re able to conquer those fears, then there is nothing we’re not capable of.”

A good intro to dark romance as it had a bit of a mystery and there were only a few romance scenes. Unique setting and mystery and character development with the mental illnesses. The only thing I wished was that we got more insight to Wynn's story than just one group therapy discussion.
But it was good read! Your heart will break, fill, hurt, fill, break again, then fill up again patched up.

Whoever coined the phrase “sticks and stones” is an asshole, don’t you think? Words indeed hurt more than stones. Thanks for trying to gaslight me out of it though. It didn’t work.
The fabric of our souls is thin—we’ve been wandering this world just to unite in this small corner of the universe. Our connection is frightening and enchanting all at once.
The Fabric of our Souls is thin and worn. We must be gentle and love tirelessly.

Lots of characters but I loved them all and very excited to continue reading each of the Eaton brother's books in the series. Grumpy/sunshine is not my favorite typically but this had a cute ending. I feel like there was a lot of loose ends with things that were kinda thrown in, especially towards the end, but it was still a good read.

I love anything Disney inspired so I was really excited for this! I love any Cinderella retelling or inspired works but this.....didnt hit. There were too many references to Disney films instead of this being a Disney inspired book. There were sooooo many paragraphs of dialogue. Im talking like a full page of just one person talking, without any break for a description. It was just pure one long paragraph of dialogue. Numerous times. And then conflict happens 40 pages before the end for the quickest resolution? I should have DNF'd this earlier honestly. I was sadly disappointed.

This picks up right where book one left off and it was just as fun and adventurous as the first, if not more.

I didn't like the characters. I didn't sense any development, things and relationship changes just kinda happened all of a sudden randomly. I don't know, I liked the F1 setting, but I also kinda like watching Disney•Pixar Cars more.

I liked that it had chapters for Scarlett and Tella so it was a full adventure coming together. This one was fun and the little love triangle had me bouncing back and forth until the very end! I enjoyed this one and it was a good close to the series.

It was a cute, short, fast paced read. I felt like the characters were very generic so it was harder to connect with them. I didn't feel like they had much background and they barely talked to each other besides a few times but they "already knew everything about each other"...? Parts like that and others made this book feel undeveloped and rushed. It was cute but it was simply okay. A good palette cleanser.
