I was pretty bored. For a short read, this took me way too long to finish. I didn't like the main characters but do always like a small town setting. I just couldn't get into it.

Cute book. Was kinda similar to The Unhoneymooners in the sense of the destination setting and fake relationship but still a fun read. Liam's family really pissed me off the entire book.

I was looking forward to Burgess & Tallulah's book since Fangirl Down and their story was great! I can't wait for Chloe & Sig's!!

Oh sweet Brig Knightley.....I've been waiting for your story and this did not disappoint. I love the little small town of Port Snow and it's meddling townspeople. I always love a secret pen pal trope and while Brig is absolutely clueless and dumb, I still found his and Ruth's story loveable and fun.

Holy cow. What a whirlwind. My only regret is that I did not start this series sooner. I also wish I took the time to read this not through audio because so often so much would be happening and I'd end up rewinding to make sure I caught all the info. But man, this was so good. I really enjoyed the mystery aspect of the book and the many plot twists throughout to keep you on your toes. It was all so well done. So many times I was thinking "How do I still have this many pages left when this climax is happening?!" But it still kept going!! I was a whirlwind of emotions. The grief portrayal was done really well. I already can't wait to read this one again.

It's so crazy to believe that this Travis is the same jerk wad in Archer's Voice because you fall for him! It was an enjoyable easy read and I loved the overall message in the end as well.

I was worried because many people said the beginning of this book can be confusing because so many people are being introduced but I followed along just fine. I also am THROWN that SJM would push her readers off a cliff that early in a book but I'm here for this plot. I'm really enjoying all the characters. I'm excited for this mystery fantasy!
fast-paced
This seemed like a fun reverse "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" kind of scene but it was really just a hot mess. I really didn't understand the FMC infatuation with Josh. I kept waiting for something...more. It seemed like this was targeted toward college girls because it was very all college girl behavior and it was a turn off for me. I don't know, I didn't find anyone loveable so it made the book less than exciting.

The Grinch meets The Great Christmas Light Fight and what I'm guessing the new Hallmark TV show, Finding Mr. Christmas, will be encompasses this book in true Meghan Quinn fashion. The narrator was probably my favorite character and loved the fourth wall breakage between the narrator and Cole. It was funny, lighthearted, and a fun holiday read.

I love when the reread is just as good as I remember it. Love the neurodivergent rep and Asian rep. All the characters were loveable. Big Michael fan!!
