Ohhh how I loved this Aladdin inspired story!! This was so well done and still had me gasping at the end with the twist - Emily McIntire does it again!

I liked the characters and the setting. However, I felt very confused throughout the whole book. There's a lot of time jumps and pov jumps that are unclear and I'm not sure I ever understood what exactly the plot was.

This book reminded me of Ali Hazelwood's other STEM books. The mmc seemed similar to those in her other STEM books, who I love, so I did enjoy this book! It was a cute, easy, quick, fun read.

This was cuter than I expected! I loved all the guy friends and the main characters were cute together too. It felt like a classic romcom movie I could watch over and over. 

I was hesitant to starting this one cause I didn't enjoy the first one so much to want to immediately pick up the second one but I am so glad I did! I thought this sequel was better than the first book! It was so fun and had so many more characters and plot!

Tristan and Evie have the best connection and banter. They're so fun.

My first Nikki Castle book and I'm so excited to read more of her! In less than 100 pages she did so much in creating her characters and their story. This didn't feel like a novella and I was left wanting more!

Such a fun Little Mermaid retelling/inspired story!

I don't mind dark romance or mafia romance but this was not enjoyable. I didn't like or care for any of the characters. And there was so much cursing... Sooooo much.  It doesn't bother me usually but when there's at least one f-bomb or curse word on every single page... It just gets to be too much. I didn't feel like I could even enjoy this book. Every chapter I found myself banging my head against the book just waiting for it to be done. 

I liked this one more than I thought I was going to!
