It's pretty rare to read a book that is both gripping and deeply informative. Adichie writes with a sharp honesty, both about life's circumstances and about the emotions of relationships. I read this book as a recommendation from a friend, and am so glad I did.

This is a must-read. I was riveted, appalled, inspired, and completely humbled by this book. I cannot say enough good things about it. 

This book is charming and lovely. It's not a traditional love story, but more an adventure of self and an exploration of grief. Jean Perdu is an interesting, endearing character who you desperately want to hug. I loved the literary and emotional nuance, and the descriptions of France certainly made me want to visit. I enjoyed this book - I think it'd be hard not to.

I was charmed by this book. The story is interesting, the characters are deep and dimensional, and the time/place combo is unique. While a little long, I never felt the book lagged in pace, and I enjoyed the jumping between character perspectives.

I belly laughed and I cried in public and I was so inspired my toes tingled. This book if full of whimsy and heart and a real picture of love.
