I’ve been “finishing” this book for 8 months now…
As short as it is and as compelling as the story appear to be, I think it genuinely looses me in the translation  

DNF - For such a conceptually
interesting plot, I have no desire to pick this up and figure out what will happen to these characters.
I'm a mood reader so I will give it the benefit of the doubt and try to finish this again when I'm in the right mindset for it.
Since I took this book out from the library and other people are waiting on it, I will be shelving this for later.

Will give this another go in the fall.

Update: I will in fact not give this another try.

I just don’t think this is for me.
I’m not invested in the characters and it feels like the author is trying to sell me on the idea that they have chemistry. 
May revisit but not finishing it for now.

Had to return to library. Will finish at a later time 

Will pick up again. But for now, I’m not reading further.

This book just made me realize that the fake dating trope + second chance trope give me the ick. And it’s the whole plot.

Honestly, I didn’t really like their banter. Eve was literally running this B&B and he would find any reason to not like her. 

May give it another go later on.

Lost interest in the back and forth 

Awful. No character investment. No chemistry. Very cringy.
