Didn't mind this book but not one I need to read again for a while. There were some scary parts but the last couple of chapters felt different from the rest of the book. Obviously, this could have been intentional but I found myself skipping through some of what was going on since it was too chaotic.

Not terrible but really wanted there to be something supernatural going on. In the end God smiles the insane pastor down along with all his followers for trying to sacrifice some people. Sad that the pastor wasn't an immortal of some sort. Also the main character only thought of herself the whole book, even while her crew members were dying.

I feel this series is going to be such an amazing resource for people questioning their gender or sexuality and may be afraid to come out to friends and family.

Good second volume

After watching the anime a bit the second volume of the Manga confused me as it jumped around to other characters.

Loved the commentary on social dynamics in the late 40s. If you like satirical humor this book is honestly hilarious. I found my self laughing while also at some points being in smoke if what I was reading. Definitely some dark humor which made the book even better to me. Can't wait to read more by this author.
