I liked it enough. Pretty slow overall until the end. I didn’t really get to know the characters, but I liked the location. 

This is a heavy read. I liked this perspective and learning some reasons why people work the way they do. This feels not long ago to me, but also started before I was born. Amazing what these people were fighting for… amazing what we keep fighting for…

Another super sweet and fun story from Rome! Such a cozy place, kind characters, and real issues woven together nicely. 

This is the shortest story at with the biggest moral at its heart. It’s overwhelming and sorrowful and joyous and terrifying. We need more stories in so many ways!

Ummmm no thanks? Somehow I finished this bc I needed to know what happened. And these characters were just so annoying and haphazard. The storylines felt forced and the “surprise” was not surprising. Meh. 

Yes I liked this. Was it a favorite? No. I can imagine her reactions being true, but they really bothered me. The ending was pretty great. What a wonderful way to round out the story. Lots of strength, but lots of lessons needed. 

Blitzed was a more unforgettable story. But these people! Wow. There are always good people through the mess and dark.
