great thriller and lots of mystery. Very end was flat. But great throughout and kept me engaged. 

I am not interested in writing myself, but reading about an author’s journey was fascinating. I feel like I have grown as reader from this book. 

Boring. Ok something happened. Blah blah. A quarter into it and it’s the same words over and over. 

Love these books. Loved being in Scotland, wintertime while I read during June heat, and just easy cozy writing. 

This was super relaxing and fun to listen to. Great winding down book, lots of giggles, a few profound bits, but mostly an easy going lovely story. 

Sigh. I just wanted to like her books! Was t a huge fan of lost apothecary, but it wasn’t bad. This one is worse. It’s so slow and isn’t grabbing me. Just drab. Meh. Hate not finishing, but maybe another time. 

 At some sections of this books I saw myself so much!!! A few other parts were just meh. I too went through this phase, just at a different time in my life. I did think it was pretty funny. 

This was great! Stories within a story and history and wild tales. What a journey. If you like books or being in a library or enjoy history this book is wonderful. 

The best part was learning all the behind the scenes. And just knowing from working in events how chaotic it can be- this more so! But how the story unfolded was lovely, just very slow paced. Typewriter lover for sure. Great listen. 

That really kept me engaged! Always something next and always another question! Finally jumps that lead somewhere scary and not just a “scare” to ‘inconsequential noise’ happens.
