Overall, I enjoyed this book. I did find elements of it a bit rushed or superficial. The narration itself was generally ok but a little stilted sometimes.
It was a cute story and I liked the characters so I will definitely try another book by the same author!

I really enjoyed this romance! I loved the small town setting, the themes of complex family, mental illness, new adult friendships, boundaries & moving on from the past.
The romance itself was great. I loved the tension and the “betting” trope done in a non problematic way! The bingo scenes were cute and made me want to go play!
The sex scenes were open door and steamy.
I can’t wait to read what the the author does next! :-)

I absolutely loved this book.
Often when you love a book so much (The Dead Romantics), you have that fear that the next book by the same author won’t have that same magic as the last.
I had nothing to worry about!!! I adored the setting and the characters and the magic of it all. The serendipity and the way the story loops back on itself so neatly and satisfyingly.
I loved that as well as love/romance, it’s a story about time, aging, coming of self, adventure, friendship, choosing yourself and mental health.
I can’t wait to see what Poston writes next and I’m sad I’ve already finished this!

I really enjoyed this. It was lighthearted and fun without being superficial.
The enemies to lovers/2nd chance trope was done well and nothing felt drawn out.

I hoped it would get better but the writing is so under developed and needs a serios edit. There are so many little problematic elements all the way through. I just can’t
