This novel touched me in a way that I truly don't think I will ever loose.

Others I knew who read this complained about the lack of names, the jumbled writing style, the lack of punctuation...

I didn't notice one bit of that. From the moment I opened this story I fell into step with the nameless man and his son. I walked the ashen roads with them, plagued with nameless fears. I celebrated when they "did good" and mourned when they found nothing. Despite the depth so many said this book lacked, I felt more connected to this story than I lot that I have read lately.

Desolation, but deep within the characters so much hope and love.

To those who will read this after me, please go into this novel with an open heart and mind. It is true that it isn't like a lot of other novels out there, but perhaps that is what makes it so much more intriguing.
