Great start to the series. Watched a video from a friend about stories that are similar to Frieren and this suggestion caught my attention right away.
I enjoy the novella and the introduction to Murderbot and their world. It covers some serious topics about the life and sentience of androids, the personhood of androids, and how capitalism plays a role. The main characters are written well, and I laughed out loud at some points in the story. While the book covers some heavy topics, I appreciate the levity.
I can't wait to read the next book!

It was a bit slower than I expected. The main reason I wanted to read the book is because I love the character and show Vera. Most of the book is dedicated to setting up the story and that means a lot of time spent with characters that are involved in the crime that is being solved.
