I can't believe I skipped reading this in college...the 20 something me could have learned something valuable

It's the year 2020 and considering that this book was written in 1953, I find it amazing how much can be compared to current issues, although I guess every decade since could somehow compare this storyline to the current issues of the time. I read this book as a suggestion from a lifelong friend who is a radio personality and gave his fans a list of books they should read given today's state of the country...I can't believe I didn't read this sooner
