At times very interesting, but this book is very fractured. It makes leaps that are often perplexing. My biggest gripe is the authors severe overuse of rhetorical questions, which irritated me to no end.

Neill is completely unafraid to talk shit and I deeply enjoyed it.

A re-read but first listen - if you’re able to access the audiobook I highly recommend it! I cried more than when I read it. It feels like good advice from a favourite teacher you haven’t seen in years.

It’s fine? Definitely preferred it to beautiful world, where are you? Painfully slow in a lot of places, but some beautiful rumination on love and grief. No one is particularly likeable or interesting, but the prose is often good.
