A perfect read for a 16 year old who hasn’t worked out they’re not the main character yet.
Perfectly enjoyable, a decent twist, but ultimately the narrator is a pretentious teen and I, alas, am but a pretentious adult.

Beautifully written but fundamentally infuriating. I thoroughly enjoyed the Night Circus so was hoping to enjoy this too. Morgenstern‘s prose is lovely, but the story is so caught up in its own metaphors that it became difficult to understand what was going on.
