Elizabeth Acevedo is quickly becoming an insta-buy author, all of her books have been sweet and emotional. Even though this isn’t as good as her other 2 novels, this is still one of the best books I’ve read this year.

Alright, you got me, I’ll read some straight romances. This was really cute, and this also makes me curious to read more male POVs in adult romance novels.

This wasn’t bad per se, but I didn’t really love the characters and the romance was okay. I was kind of relieved when I finished this.
Also “she came with a beautiful, hawklike cry” is the funniest line I’ve ever read in a sex scene. I would have DNFed then if I hadn’t been 95% through.
