I absolutely loved this. The prose where amazing, I highlighted so many passages. It is so emotional and i felt truly attached to the main character Robert Ross, i also adored the switching of perspectives while reading as it make everything feel more real. at times I would sit back and realize that while Robert might not be real the death and carnage around him is.

I loved this book so much, however there are a few things i had issues with like the fact you can defiantly tell it was written in the 1970's which is not an issue by itself, but i did not "love" the way minorities where spoken about however that is something of the times. i did love the story and the friendships developed within the novel, however they did develop super quickly but that does happen in traumatic situations so that makes it a little more acceptable.

Super good, fast paced read with extremely good imagery and likeable characters, would love a full length novel set in the same world as I found it super interesting.

I really do not like the mmc, he gave off really creepy vibes.
