SPOILER ALET
I enjoyed the story throughout most of the novel. What made me fall in love with Delerium was how different it was and that's why I loved the first large portion of this book. It wasn't another "utopian" book but really just a disguised love triangle. It was a real utopian novel with loss and grief an heartache. And thennn the end. Alex comes back. Although trust me I love Alex and want him and Lena together, as much as I hated the idea of him dying it was what made this series different from the rest... We'll see what happens in the rest.

If you're looking for a quick, cute YA fairy tale this is it. There isn't anything life changing in this novel but its a great story and enjoyable to read. It's very different from other stories, and is written well considering the age of the author. Definitively enjoyable especially if you enjoy fairy tales but don't expect too much or you'll ruin the simple elegance in the book!
This book took me awhile to get through. Even though it is very short, there wasn't anything drawing me into it and overall I found the narrator to be a bit too much to handle. After finishing the book I see the depth and poignancy of the book that everyone raves about, however for me personally it wasn't an all time favorite.
