This is a dense but so important text about Black theatre makers and visionaries. You need this if you are looking for a beautiful, caring methodology for describing art, people, and lives all in one go.

This is a beautiful book, full of joy. I think I will need to read this five or so times to get everything from it. There’s so much “information” as well as spiritual and ritualistic advice. Gorgeous.

This really captures the spirit of family gossip. Just be warned that there is some unaddressed coverage of homophobia.
