If you like over analyzing the politics of Star Wars you’ll love this. 
Absolutely loved getting to see Leia deal with the grief of who her father was as well as idolizing her mother. And trying to balance and understand who they were before he turned to the dark side.
Betrayal, drama- set just before the new trilogy, you can literally feel the war building up.

I actually loved this book. Unlike other Star Wars books I felt like it wasn’t jammed into the plot and characters. I feel like Claudia took time in writing these men how she saw them and creating a lovely backstory between them and while doing that made something that continues the story and not one that bends or changes anything. 

The end of this book made me sob for 30 minutes.

Never has someone made me care about baseball but Gish Jen made me care so hard 

I had to read this for my BFA and I fucking hated it and that’s my only opinion

Okay low key loved this book? It was such a fun read and I love Martha Wells so much. She could write anything and I would read it
